"Danny" was the outstanding pup from News Flash's last litter, sired by CH Sky Rocket's Uproar. He stood out from a very young age and retained that promise right through his development. He finished quickly. When he came into full maturity closer to 3 years old, he then attained an outstanding show record of Breed, Specialty, Group wins and ultimately a Best in Show and a top ranking in the nation in the breed. He retained this quality, elegance and soundness as the years passed. He passed on these qualities and his loving, gentlemanly disposition to his offspring; from limited breedings he produced 21 champions with several sons and daughters also becoming top winners and producers. He is still found in pedigrees of today's winners and was prominant in contributing greatly to several kennels.

"Danny" carried on the tradition of wins at the Florida West Coast MSC Specialties held on the large Jan FL show circuit against top competition following his dam's example. He won Best of Breed in 1977 becoming the 2nd generation. His sons and daughters - CH Shorlaine Top Flash, BW in 1978, CH Marley's Touchdown BB in 1983, daughter CH Liebestraum Bad Mamma Jamma, BB in 1984, double granddaughter CH Datura's Delta Dart, BW in 1988 and great grandson CH Datura's Devastator BB in 1990 - made up 5 generations of winners coming down from News Flash.

"Danny's" influence on his offspring was prominant in several successful show lines beside SHORLAINE. Foremost was through his Best in Show son, CH R Bo's VICTORY FLASH who compiled a record of 90 Best of Breed wins, including 14 Specialties, among those the AMSC Specialty at Montgomery County. He won over 50 Group placements including a dozen Firsts and a Best in Show. He earned the #1 ranking in the U.S. for miniature schnauzers. He sired 30 champions and was very influential also in the Postscript, Bravo, and Bandsman lines through many generations..

"Danny" and News Flash were predominant in establishing the DATURA miniature schnauzers with its 25 homebred champions. Their foundation bitch, Rising Sun Dazzling Display - "Dixie" - (dam of 6 champions) was sired by a Danny son and her dam was a News Flash granddaughter, Shorlaine Bee Bee Gunn. "Dixie's" daughter by "Danny", CH Datura's Nightin' Gale, produced their top producing CH DATURA'S STAR LIFTER, dam of 7 champions.

Another "Danny" son. CH SHORLAINE STANLY DANGERFELD, produced 5 of his 10 champions with Datura dams, Dixie and Nightin' Gale and another with Star Lifter. He contributed to the Tigerlane line of Connie Mercer with CH Tigerlane Tara of Shorlaine, a daughter of Tigerlane Tempest who was a top producing "Danny" daughter of 3 champions.

Tempest produced her other two champions sired by "Danny" son, CH SHORLAINE TOP FLASH, (sire of 4 champions). These were the littermates, CH Tigerlane On Target and CH Tigerlane Rockette.

"Danny" contributed greatly to the Liebestraum miniature schnauzers with his daughter, CH LIEBESTRAUM BAD MAMMA JAMMA (a Specialty BB winner), the dam of 7 Liebestraum champions. Prominant among her offspring, was CH LIEBESTRAUM DESPIRATO, sired by "Danny" son, CH Shorlaine Stanly Dangerfeld. Despirato became a top producer of 6 champions and he himself accrued a notable show record with multiple Group wins.

Another "Danny" daughter, SUNNY MARK'S SUGAR BRANDY, who traced back to both News Flash and Dorem Trilby daughter, CH Shorlaine Tippety Tuckett, became the foundation of Da-Lin's Kennel. Brandy produced 7 champions, five of them sired by Danny sons, Stanly and CH Marley's Quarterback as well as by CH Liebestraum's Despirato.

"Danny" sired a complete litter of 3 champion brothers with Marley's Swashbuckler. These were CH's Marley's Touchdown, Quarterback and Linebacker. The first two brothers both sired 2 champions each out of "Danny" daughters contributing champions and producers at Datura and Da-Lin kennels. Touchdown was a Specialty and Group winner.

"Danny's" daughter, CH SHORLAINE TICKLE MY FANCY, "Tiki," out of News Flash granddaughter, Shorlaine Fancy Fire, was a feminine version of himself. She was a Breed winner over champions.
